Emily Beth, initially taught by her mother, started playing the violin aged 4.
She played her first solo in the concert hall of
the Royal Northern College of Music aged five and by the age of nine played Monti’s Czárdás and Massenet’s Meditation from Thaïs in the same hall and in Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall.
Aged 11, Emily performed Beethoven’s Romance in F with Manchester Symphonia. At 14, she performed
Kabalevsky’s Violin Concerto with Manchester Symphonia.
Emily Beth graduated from the RNCM with
Bmus Hons in 2008.
