Sisters Emily Beth and Penny have played together professionally since 1995 in
the Spring Quartet
They have now branched out to create
a new style of entertainment,
fusing Classical music with a modern beat.
Playing on ‘Bridge’ electric violin and electric 5 string,
they call themselves Ponticello;
from the Italian term ‘sul ponticello’ meaning ‘on the bridge’
With 9 strings between them, the girls cross over the range from viola to violin whilst still creating the subtleties of
