Playing on ‘Bridge’ electric violin and electric 5 string,
they call themselves Ponticello Duo;
the Italian term ‘sul ponticello’ meaning ‘on the bridge’.
Using a five string and a four string violin Ponticello Duo cross the range from viola to violin while still providing the subtleties of 2 violins.
